San Pablo Smiles Dentistry is a dental practice focused on care for the entire family. Ana - Patient Care Coordinator
Ana was born and raised in San Pablo/Richmond area. She graduated from Richmond High School and attended Contra Costa College. She has been in the dental field and as a team member of the practice for over 15 years. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is helping others and making them feel comfortable. She is happily married and has two wonderful kids. She loves spending time with her family, exercising, going on hikes and traveling.
Kathleen - Front Office Coordinator
Kathleen is an East Bay native who brings a unique perspective to our front desk: she grew up as a nervous patient herself. A 2011 graduate of the Carrington College Dental Assisting Program, she transitioned into administration in 2020, where her empathy and knack for problem-solving truly shine. She is dedicated to making every "first impression" a calm and supportive one. She’s your go-to guide for everything from scheduling to moral support. Outside the office, Kathleen is likely spending time with family, exploring a local museum, diving into Bay Area history, or catching the latest horror flick at the theater.
Teresa - Registered Dental Assistant
Teresa has been in dentistry for more than 18 years. She attended Contra Costa College Dental Assisting program where she obtained her Registered Dental Assistant license. She always assures patients are fully informed and feel comfortable with all of their dental needs. Teresa will encourage you to ask questions and make sure that all of your concerns are addressed before treatment. As a RDA she will be there to make your dental experience pleasant. When she’s not at work, she loves being with her family and cooking.
Sonia - Registered Dental Assistant
Sonia was born in El Salvador and came to the United States when she was 12 years old. She attended Jefferson High School in Daly City and graduated from Bryman College in San Francisco to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Sonia has been in the dental field for 19 years and really enjoys helping and getting to know her patients. She also enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son Jonathan.
Natividad – Dental Assistant
Natividad is originally from Guatemala and moved to the United States when she was 13 years old. She graduated from the JVS Dental Assisting Program in 2023 and is excited to continue growing her career in the dental field. She truly enjoys working with patients and loves helping everyone feel welcome and comfortable in our office. It’s especially meaningful to her when she can support her family and friends with their dental care. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, spending quality time with her family, and hanging out with her dog, Mochi.
Edwin - Registered Dental Hygienist
Dental hygiene is not just cleaning teeth, it’s about the perfect blend of art and education, and that’s exactly what Edwin provides at our office. In 2021, Edwin earned his Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni in San Francisco. As a student continuing education during the COVID-19 pandemic, he faced many challenges. He learned to be resilient and showed his capability to acclimate to sudden change in his life. This opportunity allowed him to improve his all around skill set of patient communication, comfort, and empathy. Although he loves many aspects of dentistry, he most enjoys getting to know his patients. To him, the heart of patient care is taking a personalized approach because each patient and their smile is unique.
Outside the office, Edwin enjoys hitting the batting cages, hiking, playing board games with his family, and enjoying time with his dog, Dior.
Isabel - Registered Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Isabel completed her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene at West Coast University in Orange County. Passionate about healthcare and her local community, she has actively engaged in volunteer and outreach programs with the goal of impacting people’s lives positively. Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dog and trying new coffee and boba places.
Isabelle - Registered Dental Hygienist
Isabelle is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Fresno City College in 2024. Growing up in a dental office, she was exposed to a variety of patients from a young age, inspiring her passion for patient education and preventative care. Isabelle loves helping patients take control of their oral health by creating personalized treatment plans. Outside the dental office, Isabelle enjoys playing pickleball with family, making matcha lattes, and collecting cute knick-knacks.
